Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Ring sizes from this site are guidance, not a guarantee of fit. Finger size changes through the day and with temperature, and band width affects how a size feels. For an expensive ring, or one that cannot be resized later, confirm your size with a jeweller before ordering.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and the ring sizing tools on it (together, the “Service”), operated by PerfectRingSize. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are a minor, use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. What the Service provides

The Service estimates ring size from a measurement you take, using either your screen or your camera, and converts that measurement between US, UK, EU and Indian sizing standards. It is provided free of charge, with no account required and no purchase necessary.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that it will be available uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Measurement accuracy and your responsibility

Ring sizing is inherently approximate. The accuracy of any result depends on factors outside our control, including how carefully you calibrate against a reference card, your browser zoom level, camera quality and lighting, the time of day you measure, temperature, and the width and profile of the band you intend to buy.

You are responsible for verifying your size before making a purchase. We are not responsible for rings ordered in the wrong size, for resizing costs, for restocking or return fees, or for any purchase you cannot return. Where a ring cannot practically be resized — such as an eternity band or a tension setting — we strongly recommend a professional measurement.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, mirror or systematically copy the Service or its content for a competing product;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code beyond what is exposed by normal browser use;
  • upload or transmit anything malicious.

5. Intellectual property

The design, text, layout and original code of this site are owned by PerfectRingSize and protected by copyright. You may use the Service for your own personal and non-commercial purposes, including printing a sizing chart for your own use.

You may not republish our content commercially, or present it as your own, without written permission. Third-party components used by the Service — including the MediaPipe hand-tracking library — remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences.

6. Third-party sites

The Service may link to jewellers, retailers or other third-party websites. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content, products, pricing or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement — to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PerfectRingSize will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service — including any loss arising from a ring purchased in the wrong size.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero, or the minimum amount permitted by the law that applies to you, whichever is greater.

9. Your local consumer rights

The Service is available internationally, and the consumer protection laws of your own country may give you rights that these terms cannot take away. Nothing here limits any such mandatory right. In particular:

  • United States:some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so parts of sections 7 and 8 may not apply to you. You may also have rights under your state's consumer protection statutes.
  • United Kingdom: your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including that a digital service be supplied with reasonable care and skill — are unaffected by these terms.
  • India: your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, including the right to seek redress before the appropriate consumer forum, are unaffected.
  • Elsewhere: where local law grants you non-waivable consumer rights, those rights prevail over any conflicting clause in these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms, so please check back occasionally.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The courts of the United States will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

This does not deprive you of protection you are entitled to at home. If the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, or grants you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights continue to apply as described in section 9.

We would much rather resolve a problem by email than formally — please get in touch before taking any formal step.

12. Contact
